… and you right in the middle of it! Sölden is a paradise for hiking fans and mountaineers. Here, you can expect 300 kilometres of hiking trails to the most beautiful Alpine pastures and panorama points. Hike across lush green Alpine meadows, through dense forests, along rushing streams, and over millennia-old rocks – you’ll be amazed at the beauty of Ötztal. Seven mountain cable cars take you to heady heights and make the ascent easier, while 32 Alpine huts provide you with typical Tyrolean delicacies.

It’s the highest mountain in the area and we’ve even named one of our rooms after it: Nederkogel, which stands at 3,136 metres above sea level. It’s located south of Hotel Sunny Sölden and, thanks to its freestanding summit, boasts an impressive 360-degree panorama over the Stubai Alps and Ortles Alps. The ascent leads over the eastern side of the mountain and past Lenzenalm, and then you can reach the summit in about three to four hours.
